I remember my father telling me years ago recounting something that my kindergarten teacher had told him, “Please get this boy a tracing book because he cannot draw anything.” A tracing book he did get me after that, but then on began a love story with this art form that has brought me far beyond what i could have ever imagined. Nothing has calmed me like immersing myself into a blank canvas to unravel a new character or a fresh new world withone line stroke after another.

Thank you very much for stopping by. My name is Vipin Alex Jacob and I’ve had the blessed opportunity to be a part of the animation and children’s entertainment industry for the past 17 years. During this time, I have had the chance to work in a diverse range of projects ranging from animation for feature films, television and documentaries to designing for brands, children’s publishing and children’s books. The journey has had it’s fair share of ups and downs with challenges along the way, but every step has been pivotal in shaping me to be who I’m as an individual. In 2016 and 2023, I was fortunate to be a part of two books of 3dTotal publishing’s “Sketching from Imagination : Characters and Character concepts”. I’m based out of Ontario, Canada and a husband and father of three charming and bubbly little girls who teaches me to see the world daily through “Child-like wonder.”
